Weekend at the Shang

A few weeks ago we told you about our wonderful time taking care of our friend's 7 children while they were away in the USA. As a present for watching their kids, they gave us a weekend away at a really nice hotel here in Manila, the Shang-ri-la! We figured we better get away before Baby Brooks arrives, so Friday through today Dan and I enjoyed (and were very spoiled) by staying here! From the huge, amazing breakfast buffet, to taking a bath (rare in the Philippines to have one of these in your bathroom!) to just being able to relax and enjoy spending time together, we had a fantastic time! Scruffy stayed with a good friend of ours... He just got a haircut a few days ago. Couldn't help but show you our cute puppy!
