Let the traveling begin!!
Well, since we have arrived, we have taken off on an adventure to visit lots of friends and family. It has been a whirlwind so far, but we are just enjoying all the time we have with folks! Here is a recap of our last week! :)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Our first stop was to Naylor, Georgia. Here we ate lots of turkey and caught up with SO many fun family members. We spent the weekend very nostalgically at Dan's Grandma's house. As a child, this is where Dan and his family would come and visit. I have named it the perfect Grandma house.
Then, off for a stop to see our nephews, John and Caleb in Bartow, Florida. They have grown up so much since I first met them! (now 15 and 12.) We went out to lunch and then Davis and I watched the "big boys" kick around the soccer ball at a local park.
Next stop, Ft. Meyers, Florida to visit Grandma Grinnell! Davis had some precious time with her. When we arrived she had "baby proofed" her home by taking all of her breakable items off the shelves. Davis still found lots of safe items to play with.... we think his favorites were her coasters! He charmed all of her friends in her apartment complex with his joyful attitude and smile. :)

Along the way we made a yummy stop a Cracker Barrel!!!
After a stop to visit some friends in St Augustine Florida, we have now landed in Charlotte, NC for the next week, to stay with some wonderful friends of ours. (picture coming soon!!) While we are here we plan to visit tons of friends and catch up with them.
Tonight, we visited with Stephanie, Josh, and their sweet girls, Elena, Emily and Lily. Lily was born just 3 weeks after Davis.... It was so much fun to watch them interact. We've known Stephanie's family for 22 years and she is really more a sister to me then a friend.

Hello! I know you haven't posted in a while, but I thought I would comment anyway. I actually found you while googling "MDOC Wycliffe" - funny, huh!?
We are new (well, old, but new - a long story) Wycliffe members. I was intrigued that you seem to have relatives in AL and WA, as do we! My family is in AL and my hubby's family in WA! :-)
Well, hope you are enjoying your time back in the states. Are you still with Wycliffe? I'd be interested in hearing what you guys are up to now! :-)
God bless,
Sharon
