Precious Friends.

I had a fabulous weekend with some of my very best friends from the last 16 years! It was so refreshing to get away from it all and just enjoy each other! We spent the weekend at Tricia's parents beach house named "Making Memories." Tricia was our girls youth leader at church and God used her in so many ways to shape us into the women we are today! Now we are all just very close friends who even though we may not even talk to each other but a couple times a year we can get together as if no time has passed. We really missed the other 2 girls in our group and hope that we can have a full reunion next year. :)

We stayed in Sea Grove and were able to ride bikes almost everywhere we went! What a treat!

While we were there, some youth from our church we grew up in were staying down the road. We ran into some of them when we were with one of their leaders and one of the girls exclaimed "Ya'll look so cute!" (we were riding our bikes) The girls leader (about our age) translated it to mean, "Ya'll look like a bunch of old ladies having fun!" We had a big laugh. :) When we were that age we thought 30something was old, so I'm sure they do to!

Eating yummy food was a major theme of the weekend. There was just something special about going out to restaurants and just enjoying good food and great company!

While it is wonderful to back with all of my boys, I can't wait for our getaway next year!
