Motherhood

I am quickly being educated in the ways of motherhood. Over the last 2 months I have really been enjoying all the moments I have with our little Davis. We've been learning a lot about each other. I think I spend 3/4 of my day just staring and being in wonder of the miracle that having this baby is!

I took Davis for his 2 month old check up and he is now 13 pounds and 23 inches long! This means he has already doubled his birth weight!! The doctor says he could pass for a 4 month old Filipino baby...

As well as being in wonder, I think Dan and I are also quite obsessive over every move we make concerning our baby! Maybe it comes from my feelings of always wanting to do everything right (I think Dan has the same issue... :) or maybe this is how all new parents are. Two things I do know are that Dan is an awesome daddy and that I am thankful to be able to stay home and take care of Davis. I count it as a big honor and responsibility. (scary!!)

We recently traveled about 3 hours away to a beach for some relaxation! Davis was quick to catch on to how you relax in our family!!

Here he is holding up his head! I've been amazed at how his bobble head is leaving!
