Happy Birthday JP!

Yesterday we went to a birthday party for our friends little boy, JP! In the Philippines turning 7 is a big deal, as was this party! It was so much fun to celebrate with this family. (along with about 150 other folks!!)

Here is the birthday boy playing a traditional game in which you break a clay pot that is filled with candy and coins. The Philippines version of a pinata!


Happy Birthday, JP! He loves Batman, and that was the theme. Here is his cake!

The party was held at a Chinese food restaurant where 2 very funny clowns took care of entertaining the kids while the adults were finishing their meals!

Here we are with Alex, Emi and Joni. We enjoy every moment we get to spend with this precious family!

Cheese! Davis had a great time and enjoyed being part of the party.

For some reason I made a "bzzt" noise while holding Davis. I've never seen him laugh so hard.

While ya'll have been sleeping we have been celebrating!

This evening we had a dinner complete with hamburgers, baked beans. french fries. apple pie and icecream at our missions guest house. It was SO much fun to hang out and have some traditional American food on this special day! Afterwards, we all went swimming. (Davis is all ready in his swim suit!)

These precious ladies prepared the delicious meal and Davis had so much fun with them.

Whenever we come to the office, Davis is taken from my arms and entertained by his many Filipina aunts. Here he is hanging out before we went up for dinner.

Bundles of 6 month old cuteness!

I am now 6 months old as of last week!

I'm kinda sitting up now and weigh over 18 pounds!!

I'm eating some solid foods now! I've had rice cereal, carrots and green beans!

I'm the happiest baby in the world and I laugh and smile at everyone!

Now that I can hold myself up a bit, mommy lets me jump around in the kitchen doorway! I love staring and laughing at Scruffy!
