Davis has really taken off with his walking. Here is a short 1 minute picture of a little bit of his walking! Sorry that I took the beginning of the video sideways. We are videoing for the moment on our camera, so I really wasn't paying attention as I did it!!! The cuteness is still all included!!

Davis's 1st Haircut!

In recent weeks, (OK, months) Dan has been talking about our cutie having a mullet. I agreed that his hair was a little long over the ears and gaining length in the back, but I was still able to dodge the 1st haircut for awhile! A couple weeks ago, my Dad (Gramps) offered to give Davis his 1st haircut. He did a fantastic job and it actually turned into a family effort... Grandma got in on the action and so did Uncle David. My sweet Daddy did most of the work though, and we now have the hair saved for Davis to show his children in a really long time.

FYI: Crackers are really great to aid in the process. Davis is addicted to carbs like his Mommy, so this really helped in keeping him still!

Where in the World is Davis?!!!

OK, so everyday I check my e-mail and check my favorite blogs (in hopes there are new posts!!) Then I think to myself, I really need to put up some pics and tell what we've been up too!! If anyone enjoys reading about other peoples lives like I do then I'm sure they'd be excited! So, I'm sharing today a bunch of pics from the last few weeks and then hopefully will be better about just posting what we are up too! This past weekend Davis had his first haircut done by his GRAMPS!! It was SO much fun and so special. I'll post about it tomorrow. :)

Davis is growing like a weed and is my best buddy!!

OK, and he has taken up walking! Here he is holding my hand, but in the last few days he has really taken off and is going on his own!!!

Our good friend, Sarah flew in from Manila for a week at the beginning of February. It was incredible to have her around for awhile. Davis had missed her -- special time!

Mom and I spend lots of time with Davis. We took him to the zoo one day, which was great since Davis loves animals. His favorites are the "quack-quacks" (basically any bird-- even an airplane has been called this.) If it has wings, it is a quack quack!

Davis, Dan and I have been really thankful for some new friends that live just around the corner from my parents. They have a little boy named Currin who is 6 months old. Davis and Currin have become best buddies and Meg and I try to get them together at least a few times a week. He is SO sweet so they make perfect playmates! (as long as we can keep Davis from poking his eyes-- lately Davis loves eyes and has tried to poke all of ours-- including the dogs!)

We love playing outside and Davis loves his walker... he can manuever it so well by picking it up and changing direction. Our baby is becoming a toddler!!!
