Being the Cutest Toddler Around is Hard Work!

Well, I didn't find my plug in for the computer, but my wonderful hubby recently pointed out to me that I can just stick my memory card into the side of his computer. (Wish I'd realized this one sooner!!!) Tonight you are getting some random pictures from the past few weeks. I guess this is the best way to get started back. Pics of Davis always seems to work!

I just call this picture: Davis, GQ. Isn't he adorable!!!

As we have moved into our house, Davis has shown a lot of interest in cleaning. (Or at least the tools to do it!) He often can be found sweeping the floor and carrying the dust pan along also!

For my birthday, Davis, Scruffy and Dan gave me a dogwood tree! I was so excited! They even planted it for me on my special (30th) day! It is in the front yard and we think it will be so much fun to watch it grow and grow!

Here is the Grinnell 5 + Sabrina and Davis at my birthday party that my family had for me. It was so much fun to all be together. I had not been in the USA on my birthday since I turned 25 so this was really special. :)


Grandma came to visit us at our new house. Davis loves books and is always a happy audience when it is time to read! (Hopefully this will continue!!)
As I've moved Davis to 1 nap instead of 2, lunchtime is often very tiring. Needless to say, as I was doing the dishes I turned around and in about 2 minutes Davis had fallen asleep. I loved catching this moment...

Last week Davis and I went to visit Mandy, Dave and their little one Natalie. Here Davis is playing with his Aunt Amanda!

Picture downloader Thingy

Guess what?!! I still can't find my picture downloader (I don't know what it is really called...) Everyday I usually catch up on at least a couple of my friends blogs and wish that I could find it. Maybe tonight I'll make a plan to buy a new one soon. It is just really hard for me to just "write" without posting adorable pictures of precious Davis!

Which, he has been doing great, moving to our new town. He had a minor set back the last couple of days with feeling pretty bad with a terrible sinus infection. I really have never seen him act this lathargic and want to just sit on my lap and not walk around much. Thankfully, we have already found a wonderful doctor who was able to prescribe a med to help him.

Yesterday, after his nap he did not want to be put down at all until Dan got home, and even then, that was just for a minute to walk with him, but then Dan just was the holder for awhile. We aren't into allowing him to watch TV much at all, but I will confess that in the 4 hours of holding him, he did experience his first Little House on the Prairie episode. :)

I guess this is an ok day for me not to have my picture downloader thingy as you probably don't want to see the lovely elements that are flowing from our precious one! :)

(I do have a backload of pics though that could have replaced the nose in need of tissues!!!)

While Ellen blogs about "life", and "home", and "Davis", I've been struggling to put together some content for our blog.
It's no secret that I love chicken pot pie.

New Residents of Madison!

As of last Monday we are now homeowners in Madison, AL which is a smaller town outside of Huntsville. I have a great excuse as to why you haven't seen any pictures and that is I can't find my little USB adaptor that plugs into the computer!... must be in one of those boxes. :)

We are loving our new neighborhood, and have already had several families introduce themselves. We are on a culdesac and have really been hoping for community where we live. It seems that God is going to provide that!

Dan began his job as a Flex Developer today and is hard at work just 15 minutes down the road. Davis and I have been continuing to unpack boxes and make this house our home.
