My Little Star

6 weeks old tomorrow... we just think Isaac is becoming more and more adorable! Here are a few recent pics from after Davis went to bed a couple nights ago!

For those of you who have ever been to my "ancestral" home in Gulf Breeze, FL, you should enjoy this painting that was done by my cousin, Sean. Sean is an artist in Fresno, and he made it as a gift for his mother, who enjoyed sitting on the dock with Mom. The magnolia flowers, Spanish moss, and the infamous "missing board" all resonated with me and my brothers.

Space and Rocket Center Picnic

As loyal residents of the Huntsville area, we joined the US Space and Rocket Center for the year. (Actually, it was a really good deal to joine when Dan's brother Will and family were here visiting!) As members we were invited to a back to school picnic which was a lot of fun!

I decided to buy a sling for Isaac. It is so much more comfortable then a front carrier! I didn't realize how much I would enjoy it, but this trip to the space center was proof that they are wonderful! And, both my hands were free! Everyone thought I had a little girl though, since the one I picked out is pink... oh well, I don't think Isaac will be too affected!

Isaac is 1 month old!

Today, Isaac is 1 month old!! This month has flown by already and he is such a wonderful addition to our family! I took him to the doctor on Tuesday (my official due date!) and he weighed in at 9lb 7oz and 22 inches long!!! When he was born he was 6lb 7oz and 18inches long. No wonder he is sleeping so much-- he is growing at incredible speeds!! 4 inches in 4 weeks. That has got to hurt!

"Davis, please put your arms around Isaac." -- actually, just minutes before this Davis was hugging on Isaac (makes my day) and showing him lots of love. I just didn't get a great picture of it!

While Dan was Working...

Dan had to work this past weekend, so the boys and I decided that this was a great opportunity to spend a long weekend with Grandma and Gramps!

Isaac spent most of the weekend doing just this... sleeping and enjoying his Grandma! The rest of these pictures are of Davis having a blast!!

Gramps took Davis over to a pool nearby that has a fountain and zero entry water. He had so much fun!

We also visited Goat Island and swam on the beach. Here Davis is with Gramps! He is always such a great sport with his life jacket and totally doesn't mind it being on.

Since Isaac is too little to ride in the boat, Mom stayed home with him and I was able to go on the adventure!

We also visited our friends Meg and Currin, whom we have missed so much since we have moved away from the lake. Currin is now 1 year old, so he and Davis are now really able to interact and they had so much fun!
